When I open a form with a text box that displays a memo field the form opens with the text highlighted and when I click in in it comes off. How can I prevent this from happening when opened.

Is is possible to access the scroll bar properties of a text box.

not sure what you mean by this bit.

The textBox is highlighted usually because its the first TabStop. Try changing the tab order so something else is first.

For the first question:
Click on Tools>Options>Keyboard
On the right, you chose where you want the cursor to display.
It is a good idea not to leave it as it is 'cause if you hit the delete key, you delete all the text. My advice is to put it at the end. That way, it is easier to add text to the current one.
Note that this is local settings(ie:Changes for all the databases you open, but does not change it for other users.)
