How can I change the backcolor of a field dependent on a calculation

I have created a form to show which work order records are still open. I also want to flag records over 3 days old by changing the backcolor to red. The form shows continuous records and will change the color of all records depending on the calculation on the first record only. This changes the backcolor on all the records and not just the ones over three days old. How can I get around this problem?

Unfortunately, you cannot change the formatting on continuous records in a form, but you might be able to overcome that by selecting one or a few fields that you can format depending on the selected criteria. Open up your form in design view and click on the field that you want to format. Go into the tools menu and click on Conditional Formatting. By using this, it will allow you to set 3 different formats, plus your default to the same field. You can play around with this and see if it helps you.
