I've created a document that I now want to place headers on. I know how to put a "regular" header onto a document, but now I need to place a small table into a document. For testing purposes, I made a small (two rows, three columns) table, and tried to copy and paste it into a header; all that did was to add a line after my table.

Is there a way to, inside the header, create a table? Is this something that can be done?

Any advice or ideas will be welcomed with open arms. Thanks in advance to all who reply.

Once you're clicked in the header (or the footer for that matter) you can use the Table menu as normal.

I just did it like this:

View, Header and Footer
Table, Insert, Table..., OK

It worked fine.
