How do you close the properties window

This is a very small but annoying little problem. When running the autoexec macro to open a form or whatever, if the properties for that form were open when the form was saved or last left the properties window for the form opens up, is there anything you can put in the "on open" event top make sure all property windows are closed

This is indeed annoying. I found your inquiry when searching for a solution to the same problem on one of my forms. I found the answer on the MS Support site.

On the form exhibiting the problem, look in the Properties window's "Other" tab, and at the bottom of the list you'll see something called "Allow Design Changes". Select "Design View Only" and the properties window will behave as you expect. Sheesh. I don't know how mine got reset because I'm rarely anywhere near that particular property.

thats all what I needed. It was in front my nouse. Ona form didnt do it but I didnt see what the difference were. thanks.
