How to add evaluation period

Dear Friends here.
I have just started learning . I have developed a database application for a cooperative housing society. I want to make it a demo for a trial /evaluation period of 14 days. After expiry of evaluation period the application should stop working and should not work until and unless a code/registration key is given.
How can I lock so that design cannot be modified?
Can any body help in this regard.

I find 14 day not long enough to proper evaluate most software applications. Especially if they are any type of account/inventory/transactions type application. If no process will have data that can span more than 14 days, then you could evaluate the package in 14 days. If the process is longer that 14 days, How can several months worth of data be entered and reports run to properly evaluate the application?
