Can someone please tell me how to make a text box (or label) on a form in Access 2003 to look like a circle?
Thank you in advance.

If you can tell me how to deduce the radius of a square I would be able to tell you how to turn a text box into a text circle ;)

This isn't possible I'm afraid. A database doesn't have fancy controls.

You would likely need a custom ActiveX control for this (at least from my limited knowledge) - and don't ask me how to create one as I have no idea.

And hopefully the text in the new text circle control will curve at the corners. How cool.

It would be interesting.

I have played with the sample here on the forum under Sample Databases (from DomDExecutioner) which deals with making FORMS any shape you want. It is pretty cool. I still haven't gotten anyone to let me actually do that though in a production db. :D

Just had a look. Very cool.

Don't worry SOS. Some day :D

The publishing suites have a control like this. I wonder why you couldn't just use one of their activeX controls? I'm sure there's at least 1 public domain/freeware publishing suite, right?

That is an interesting question. If it is just so you have a logo or something, you could just mock it up in photo shop or whatever and add it as a graphic. Maybe the OP is helping new businesses create logos (which one would think would be done better with a graphics tool). It is an intriguing question, though, just for the intellectual pursuit.
