how to create a filter on a form

I would like to create a filter on a form that will show records based on my selection from drop down box (combo box) and show the data in a subform in Datasheet view that I query.

How do I do this? Please help thank you.

This involves several steps that you will have to research.

1. Identify the record source for your combo box.
2. Read up on how to reference a subform from the main form.
3. Read up on applying the filter. Use Access help. The filter gets its data from the main form, but displays in the subform, which is why you will need to review how to reference the subform from the main form.
