Hi

I am creating a work request database, where people log jobs and members of our team are assigned to them and then fill in when they have completed the work.

To fill in the date of completion, I have a form which pulls up the details of the work, then a sub form which displays a list of workers involved. On this form staff fill in the dates they finished.

Once all staff have finished, the last one is meant to email out saying the work is finished.

I am trying to create a pop up message to remind the last person to do this.

However.... I am getting no where!!! I think I may be looking at a loop or something, I have looked at other messages, but can't get anywhere!

Please help!!!

One way is to count the number of sub records, then the number of completed dates for the same sub records. If the number is equal then diplay the pop up.

you will need to place this code in the after update event of the form.

I do not understand how I can write VBA to count number of records that have a date filled in. nor how to compare that to the overall count.

Sorry to be stupid!
