How to import an Excel Spreadsheet with merged cells

Hi

Is it possible to import an excel spreadsheet which contains some merged cells.

What I have got is a spreadsheet (like Raw Data in the zip file) and I need it looking like (Finish Data) but in a access table.

I have attached a copy of the spreadsheets.

Merged cells can't be imported.

There's other types of cells that can't be imported. Merged is the olny type which comes to mind. I've experienced others.

Can merged cells be exported as csv?

If so, then the text of the csv could be parsed.

CSV will strip out all formatting.

So massage the Excel file (i.e. remove merged cells and fill in empty cells) before importing to Access or convert it to CSV and fill in empty cells.
