Hi:
MS Access
In Table:

I want to make the input mask as mmddyy

Date/Time datatype
when the user enter the date value eg. 072105 => 7/21/2005 (system change)
I want to skip the slash character.

Can I do that in table?

I know that Text datatype, there is one input mask __/__/__
But, I want to use Date/Time datatype.
Please let me know.

Thanks.

It is a darn shame that you [AccessBoy] refuse to use the built-in Access help options. Unless you are afraid you might actually discover or learn the answer to your own questions?!?

The built-in Access information in regards to Input Masks is so straight forward that even you should be able to figure it out if only you would actually try to learn something instead of just posting questions.

How many times are you going to post a question before you bother to search the forum or the built-in Access help files? The list just keeps getting longer for AccessBoy

Have you even attempted to return the favor by answering a post within this forum? Of are you just going to continue to post your lazy questions and hope somebody has yet to recognize your pattern?
