Dear fellows,

I'm working with a project using Access 2002 and VBA and I'm pretty new on it.

Each time I open up a table and close it, it will auto commit the update I made on it no matter it's what's I want or by accident.

Do you guys have any advices how to turn off the auto commit feature? any utility can do that? Or I need to refer to a procedure? Thanks for your help.

Don't enter data directly into tables, use forms instead, where you can verify or cancel the update

Re

Thanks.
But are there any ways to work with table instead of form?

You can not assign an event within a table. You will have to use the BeforeUpdate events of the form [bound to the table] or text field within a form as Rich suggested. Your users should never enter data directly into a table.
