Hyperlink Field

Hi,

I have a table that links to files using hyperlinks but somewhere along the line (possibly after a 'Compact and Repair') some of the links have changed and no longer work. For example:

• Was - M:\Example Database\Database Attachments\A Test File.pdf
• Now - ..\Database Attachments\A Test File.pdf

Some file names are longer than others (and may include commas and hyphens) and they may be saved in various sub-folders within the main 'Database Attachment' folder.

Any info as to what causes this to happen (had wondered if it was the total character length of the link, or the use of punctuation marks in the file name) would be gratefully received.
