I have an access front end, that has a field called Documents link, this field normally contains an entry for each client that points to a set of folders of a win 2008 file server.
The hyperlink works fine, however when I open the Folders using hyperlink, the path to the folders in the explorer windows is shown as
//server/Migration drive$/1PR/Jo Bloggs
(see screen shot 2)
where as it should come up as
M:/1PR/Jo Bloggs
The path //server/Migration drive$ is mapped as M drive on each user machine.
I have attached two screen shots for your reference, any help would be appreciated.
I have discussed the problem with my network admin and he has advised it is an access issue not my server issue.
