I actually want a cartesian product

Hello!

I am trying to generate a matrix of all possible combinations of shift/machine/day. I have done similar before by adding two tables to a query, making sure they are not linked and dropping a field into the grid from each table.

But now I cant get it to work! When I flick over to see the data, there are column headings but no rows of data.

any ideas?

I am soooo embarrassed. And dense. Sorry for wasting your time - I should have known better. One of the tables was empty.
