I went to use my laptop to sort of some email configuration issues after the forum migration and I found that I had accidentally put my oneplus 6 charger into my laptop. Now I know it isn't a standard charger because it is supposed to be high powered. I only noticed this mistake because when I went to turn on my laptop, it wouldn't switch on. I thought I blew the thing! Instead, it somehow completely discharged my laptop so there was no battery power whatsoever. I plugged it in to the normal charger as a last resort and it started.

Things like this knock years off my life!

You may have done some good...completely depleting a battery used to be recommended to extend battery life!

Did the oneplus 6 charger survive?

I've done that with my vape and the batteries (which have a tendency to explode) got really hot. Lucky I didnt burn my house down.
