 I've come to a brick wall and not sure where to go next - can anyone help?

I have exported data from an external program to Excel which is stored in 2 columns. I want to export this data into various tables in Access, however the first column holds the field names and the second column holds the data to these fields. How can I export this so that access recognises Column A as the field names?

I've tried to get around this by using the Excel Wizard Template but as I have around 10 tables to import the data into, its not really practical.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Might Help

In Excel I would look at Switching rows of cells to columns and columns to rows - reversing so your columns become the rows - type Switching rows of cells to columns in the excell help to get detailes on how to (copy your spreedsheet first so if this is not what you want you haven't lost anything)
Once that has been done you could a)create either more spreedsheet (gets messy) or b)open Access and import the data then copy tables - name each 1 with a valid name and delete which fields you don't want without loosing any data. :)

Regards
