Thanks everyone for your help so far!! Version 001 of my access application is actually working, but I know it could be better. This means version 002 is in the cards. However, I want to learn more about access using v001 of my application before planning v002. That is where your help is very much appreciated.
First, I want to restrict access to the application. I have two users who will be allowed to input data but not change the design. A larger group of users will be alllowed to just look at the data, but can neither input data nor change design.
There will be a total 4 copies of the application (a master and 1 replica on my computer, 1 replica on another stand-alone PC, and a third replica on the internal network). I don't know much about security and replication. I am reading my books, but I would appreciate any tips and pointers that can help avert pitfalls and make my life easier (at least until the next project).
