Hi Everyone,

I have a table's memo fields containing text such as:

Are loan details correct? Failed. They are not correct

Are signatures verified? Has partner co-signed? Failed. No verification or co-signature

This would be fairly simple if could be sure they was only 1 question mark in each record, but sometimes there's 2 or more.

I want to be able to get only the text after the last question mark.

I've been using the following to get all text after the 1st question mark:

Right([dbTable]![dbMemo],Len([dbTable]![dbMemo])-InStr([dbTable]![dbMemo],"?"))

Does anyone know how I can be a bit more clever to take into account the possibility of more than 1 question mark? (and no, I have no say in the design of the initial data entry form, which sensibly should be split into question and answer  )

Thank you
Ben

Ken,

Is this a new function in Access? I'm using Access 2000 and get the message "undefined function 'InStrRev' in expression".

Thanks
Ben

Ben,

It must be. I'm using Access 2002. Sorry about that.

I hope someone else can help you work on it, though with an earlier version.

Ken
