Welcome Chad.
Re:-
so i just decided to continue it

From bitter experience I wouldn't!

Start your own database from scratch.

Use the original as a pattern, a suggestion of what is required.

Only use the tables and components you can scavenge from the the other database, after verifying they are composed correctly MS Access.

I've made this mistake myself twice, and it always seems the right thing to do, but it is not!

Welcome, Chad, and good luck.

As Uncle Gizmo reports, picking up someone else's DB can be difficult. I did that once. Took me six months to get it CLOSE to proper structure though I never actually got it completely right. In hindsight I should have started from the design goals but implemented them myself with proper normalization and other techniques.

On the other hand, it WAS a learning experience.
