I have a similar story at an airline ticket desk. The poor thing did not have her phone and needed to call someone. The person helping me gave her phone (Samsung) to her and turned back to assist me.I must be horrible at explaining this "outer world" to long time Apple citizens...
She vapor-locked for a few seconds and then said to her co-worker "it's not an I-Phone...?" She took her phone back and said "well, please excuse me!" while the poor Apple user ran off to find the "superior" product...
