Is field size counted for Null fields

Hi there people,

I have a field (Decimal Data type) which will consume 12 bytes of space - this field will be left blank at times - i am worried as to if the null fields will also be taking up as much space as the ones filled in??.

You're worrying about something that is generally insignificant for an Access program.
