Send me an A2013 file and I'll try it for you.

it probably depends whether it uses any features not available in A2007, that would cause it not to run.

eg I found a feature in A2013 that didn't affect runability in A2003. I added alternate row colours to a report in A2013, and then found it still worked in A2003, without showing the alternate row colours. So I imagine that A2013 did this by creating a custom property. As the custom property would be not even tested in A2003, it still ran.

Bob, I'm sorry, I just opened your file and realized I recently upgraded to Access 2010 on this machine. My laptop has 2007, but it's not here. Maybe someone else can test this, or I can test it tomorrow.

Thanks Mark. If no one else steps in I would be very grateful for you trying it tomorrow.
Just for curiosity, did it work with A2010?

Well, I just double clicked it and it opened, but hang on ...

Yeah, I can throw everything into design view in the .accdb file without errors, and if I change the extension to .accdr, it opens fine in the A2010 runtime, and I can add, edit and delete records in the main form and the subform.

Cheers,

Bob:
I opened your .accdb file in A2007, and I successfully edited both object types, tables and forms.

I also renamed the file to .accdr so it opened as a runtime instance, and I was able to insert, edit, and delete records from the mainform and the subform.

All the best,
