To open an outside application file from MS Access' Switchboard utility?

I would like to be able to open a PDF file from the switchboard called AdvisoryCmt.pdf .

Any suggestions would be grateful.

this is what i normally use:

Application.FollowHyperlink "PathforFile"

you can put the above link on the onClick event of a command button if you like.
