Is there a limit to the length of a form? (Hieght or Width)?

I was trying to create a quiz for work and its giving me the following error as I push things down the form

The number you entered from the Left, Top, Height or Width Property is too large or is a negative number.

Reduce the size of the control or subform control, or enter a positive number.

You have to make the size of your form larger, by pulling the right bottom of the background color you are using for the form (if you get what i am trying to say).

Hi Crash,

It doesn't sound like you are using the subform capability that
Access affords you.

The quiz questions and answers should be on a subform with
unlimited scrolling ability.

The beers were fine and the tables were true. I hope that we
can resume this discussion some other day, perhaps later
tomorrow.

Crash,

OK, I'm better now!

If you need a form that is longer than the MAX. Then you are
not presenting your data properly. Subforms can display an
"infinite" number of records. You don't have to "stretch" the
screen.

I need more info ... this problem is in a minority. Your table
structure defines what you need. Post an example and we'll
see if there isn't a better solution.

p.s. Hated to resurrect this post as I had been "on the wagon"
for a few months. But I had a great time yesterday. Post your
db and we'll see.

Ok I understand that tables are limitless but I was actually trying to create a one page form of questions each question was about 4-6 lines long in text and then a empty box underneeth for an answer that was about 5 lines in height and there was about 35-40 questions so as you can tell that would take up a lot of space (not useing a table) or a subform!

I did however find that there is a limit to the physical length of a form at 22inchs in height not sure about width I was just wondering if there was a trick to extend that?

Sorry for the late reply was not feeling that well myself

I've come across this limit as well.

Generally speaking I would agree that you wouldn't want to make a form that big there is always an exceptions.....

I have downloaded the excellent image handling form example and I have some high res pictures there is a zoom in button that allows you to zoom right into the form by magnifying the width and height properties. Eventually you hit the runtime 2100 error that the control or subform is too large.

I am searching for a solution to this problem - it may just be a fixed limit.

Rather than post a new thread thought I'd add to this to get it back to the top of the pile....

Anyone know whether sub forms have a max limit or not - or if there's a way of getting round the runtime error listed in the above posts??

Much appreciated.
