Is it possible to make a spreadsheet a stand alone? I have a new computer and really don't need Office except for my timesheet. The computer comes with Works 8.5 but I can't figure how to enter the current time with just a few keystrokes. In Excel we hit the the Control, Shift, & ; keys at the same time to enter the current time. Any advice on either program would be great. Thanks

Howdy. Not sure what you are asking. Do you mean can you buy Excel by itself? Answer is "Yes", but it costs almost as much as the whole OFfice suite. It would be a waste to just get Excel.

I have never used Works, but there might be some problems with exchanging files.
