I am trying to set my form up so that the user can move between controls with the tab button. I thought this would be very simple but I have an issue.

I have 4 labels one below another, and 3 buttons to the right of them, one below another. I want to tab down the labels and then across and down the buttons.

In the Tab Order Dialogue box in the Detail section, only 4 of the controls are visible. They are not in Form header or Form Footer neither.

Please help.

Controls have a property calle Tab Stop -see if it is set for the controls you want.

Why would you want to have labels as tab stops? If you cannot click them or modify them, then what would the point be?

And finally, I would recommend to get into the habit of naming your controls (other than labels) , not just sticking with the default names. Very quickly you'll otherwise run sour in Command39 and TextBox15 etc etc

Actually, you can Click on independent Labels, which is to say those not attached to a Control, but Labels cannot receive Focus and therefore are not part of the Tab Order.

I suppose you could use Textboxes formatted to look like Labels, or Command Buttons.

To repeat spiklepl, what exactly is the point of this exercise?
