LAYOUT view is gone?

I am using Acces 2010 and I created a Navigation pane. For whatever reason the Layout view is no longer available in the view dropdown. How do I get it back? I want to add more tabs and that action needs to be done in layout view.

The first thing you would do in a case like this is to check the Property Sheet of the form. Have you done that?

Yes, the Allow Layout View is checked as YEs.

Yes I have. I've done all of the usual remedies.

I don't get why it's gone, but I can't add any more forms to my Nav pane without it.

That's interesting. I don't think I can be of much help on the 2010 front because I don't have it installed on this machine. Save the database as a 2007 version and see if it works. If it doesn't, upload the 2007 version for me to look at.

I can upload a database here? Isn't it too big?

All I need is the form and nothing else. So import the form into a blank new 2007 database and send it over. Make sure it's not working before you do.

It's a matter of giving it a try isn't it? You obviously want to do it on a copy first.
