Limited text area

I have created a text box entitled 'Notes' which I want to be open-ended i.e. able to put as many notes on as possible, but the text box is only allowing a certain amount of characters (a very small amount and no use at all!) - how can I unlimit the text area? I have seen the options re growing and shrinking text boxes but this appears to be just for printing and makes no difference. Please help! aet.ngilbert@care4free.net

Go to the table that the form is based on and make the field type 'Memo' insterad of text.

This allows you to write more in the field.

Check the field size property first. A text field can be up to 255 characters. Memo fields can be up to 64,000.
