Line with arrows (or similar at either end)

Hi,

This is probably really simple, but is there a way to draw a line with arrows at the end of it in a report?

I'm making a timeline report and so I have lines that change length depending on project dates, I would like one of these to end is arrows or similar. I know I can fudge this by just using 3 lines or lines and text boxes and possitioning them correctly but there must be an easy way to draw a arrow right?

Interesting question actually. I personally have no idea, but how about sticking 3 images together from the windows image log, or picture center? You should certainly be able to do it with that! Either that, or with the BITMAP images that come with windows.

Hi -

Wingdings OxE7 and OxE8 (bold)
Wingdings3 Ox91 and Ox92 (bold)
Wingdings3 OxD1 and OxD2

(and there are more in Wingdings3)

...are all left and right arrows, respectively.
You may want to give them a try in conjunction with your line(s).

I hadn't thought of using Windings font, I had thought about using images but that seemed like it wouldn't be worth the effort.

Both of those would still require at least 2 controls probably 3.

I have done it with using three lines so it looks like |--------| which is fine for my needs. Seems strange to me that there isn't the capability of drawing arrows but I guess it's not exactly a major issue.
