I have several charts with two axis. On one axis, I have a column chart and on the second axis, I have a line chart. I was wondering, if there is a quick way to get both axis to line up? I am attaching a picture of one of my charts, where the secondary axis does not line up with the primary axis. I have been adjusting the axis manually, trying to get them to line up, but that seems to take forever to get the right combination. Do you have any suggestions?

i think you just need to subtract max from min of your right axis, and then divide that number by the number of intervals on your left axis. 6600/12=550. then use 550 as your major unit on the right axis.

That works great on most of my charts, but I have several where one axis is in the thousands, and the other axis is in the millions. On those charts, when I do this process, I end up with the same number of intervals on each side, but the tick marks do not line up. Is there something else I need to do to compensate? For example, on one chart, the maximum value on the left axis is 51,500 and the maximum value on the right axis is 631,000,000.
This may sound odd, but when I tried this again to get the jpg file to post, I tried something and it worked. I took the max minus the min value as you suggested, but I divided it by one less than the number of intervals on the left hand side, and it worked perfectly. Go figure
