Question Link data from Access to Excel 2007

Good day

I inherited a Database designed in Access 2007, it is designed as such that with the data inputted in access one should be able to run pre-set report in Excel. i have managed to import the data in Access. My challenge is actually creating a link in Excel to reflect the updated data from Access. it seems that there are currently a link referring to initial Access database. I have accessed the Data tab and clickedon connections but nothing seems to be working
