link reportfield to open formfield

i have a form open with records on it...
i filled in all fields and then i want to save the record
and before i do that i would like to put the values of these formfields
into reportfields...

anyone an idea ?

Just make a standard report based on your table. If you ran it
it would print all records. Don't worry about that now.

Then on your form, put a Command Button:

DoCmd.OpenReport "YourNewReport",,,"[SomeField] = '" & Me.SomeField & "'"

The line above opens YourNewReport. It won't print all records now.

It will only print the record(s) where [SomeField] has the value of
the control SomeField on your form. Additionally, [SomeField] is text
in this example. If it was a number, you'd remove the single-quotes
from the line.

Hopefully, the [SomeField] that you choose is unique that particular
number, like an employee number, etc.
