I've got a situation and i'm a bit unsure of if I can do it. I have forms that run to a query which is linked to an excel spreadsheet. Is there a way that I can get the excel spreadsheet to update with that query?

or can you run an access database off a server?

bit new to this program and unsure of exactly what it can do.

In excel you have a data tab or menu depending on which version you are using. There is an option in there to run queries so you could select your database, or another alternative, is to use a Pivot Table and select the query as the source.
