from Excel, click on Data tab on the ribbon.
Get Data->From Database->From Microsoft Access Database.
select your database, and it will show the Table and Queries.
select the query you made and click Import.

if you are talking about linking a pivot query in access to excel, be aware you cannot export the pivot view of the query. However you should be able to see the queries - are you looking at the right db? tables will be in the BE, queries in the FE

change your nz(myfield,0) (or whatever you have as value to use if null)

to

iif(isnull(myfield),0,myfield)

once you have linked successfully, in excel you will need to refresh link to see changes
