Greetings ....
i am new here ... hi every one ...
i have a small question ...
i made a data base to help running construction sites for our company ...
one of the tables will contain the main information of the project ...
name of project
address
Owner
Main Contractor
Consultant
contractor Logo
Consultant Logo
Total Cost of the project
start date
etc etc ...
now ... when i generate reports ... i want some of these data stored in the General Information Table to be displayed on the header and the footer of my reports ....
at the head of the report i want the Name of the Project to be displayed
at the footer i want the name of the owner and consultant ... etc etc
i managed to do all that ... using the =DLookUp
but when it came to displaying the consultant and owner Logo ( which are attachment type of data ) i used the same thing
=DLookUp("[Consultant's Logo]","Project Info","[ID] =1")
and it did not work !!
SSOOOOOO my super genius conclusion is that
1- either i am doing something wrong !!
2-or we can't use the =DLookUp to display images or attachment ...
if i am doing something wrong ... what is the right ?
if it is not possible to use the =DLookUp , how can i define a picture in the General Information table ... and let it appear on every report Automatically
without having to add it manually ....
thanks sooo much
