Linking Forms

Firstly, I apologise if this appears extremely simple.

I have two forms "FormA" "FormB" based on two tables, linked by "clientID".

I would like to be able to select a record in FormA, press a button to open FormB, take the clientID value from FormA and place it into a new blank record in FormB.


I have tried searching for the answer but nothing has yet solved my issue.
I have attempted using a where clause as an embedded macro ="[clientID]=" & [clientID] (and variants of this).

Looks as if I was a little hasty in posting this, it appears I have solved the issue.
