I have a listbox and two buttons.
ListEmployee, ButtonPunchIn, ButtonPunchOut.

When the form loads all the employees show in the listbox. You have to select an employee so you can punch in. Once you select an employee and punch in, the ButtonPunchIn disables and the ButtonPunchOut Enables. Meaning each employee can only punch in once and can't punch in again unless he punches out. My problem is: Once the first employee punches in the ButtonPunchIn is disabled until that first employee punches out and if I select another employee he can't punch in. Is there anything i can do?

I would recommend not showing either button until a name is picked from the list. In the after update event of the list box, you will need to determine if the current state (punched in or not) of the person selected and then display only the appropriate button based on the current state.

How do you currently determine if the person is punched in or not?

In this set up why couldn't anyone punch anyone in or out?
How do you know who is really punching in/out?
I hope this isn't the basis of a pay check.
