I have a form with several combo boxes on where users can select items. I put a button next to each combo box which when clicked opens a new form where they add items to the list. Is there a easy way to get the form that is open to refresh the list on the main form when it closese.
I have tried requery but I does not always refresh the list.

requery will ALWAYS requery the datasource for the list - it just depends where you put the action. you can either put it in the close event or the afterupdate event of the forms you open, i would suggest afterupdate. If the form is not closed or you manually instruct the new record to be saved, or go to a new record then the information is not assigned to the table, therefore the information does not appear.
