Lock some fields in a table

is it possible to some lock fields in a table. this is going to be a simple datasheet which users can enter values in some fields but some are already populated and need to be locked...

any help is appreciated..

Well... technically, no.

But you can create a columnar form and lock certain fields in the form, allowing them to see but not change such fields.

Now, you should perhaps protect the table by blocking it from general use but allowing the form to open the table with the By Owner option. Look up "By Owner" in Help to find out how this works.
