Locked field?

Upon entering data into 1 cell of my form, I am getting the error:

Field Cannot Be Updated

When I click on the help button it says the field may be locked or being used by another person. BUT, the properties are not set to locked anywhere, and I am the only person who has access to this.

Can anyone help?

What is the field based on? Query? Table field? More description would be helpful.
