I meant a query, sql execute statement or transaction cannot be reversed once it is completed. My fault for not being specific.
However, my point about zero file size increase still applies

I was using CurrentDb.Execute...., dbFailOnError in my tests but my point about zero file size increase for boolean updates still applies if using queries.
Of course if the boolean field is being edited on a separate FE, that user will see a Write Conflict message...but that's a separate issue.
