Hi. I have invisible to user fields that mark who edited a record and when, which has been great when handling disputes of staff.

But if someone gets to see the table itself (even though I have it set to hidden - some know about how to see them), can I somehow keep them from altering this info?

If you've got users that are that sneaky

You'll have to implement some kind of security. Use Access's built-in security, or search the archives here. Here are some ideas:

Hide the Database Window. Disable the F11 key (make sure you give yourself a way to get it back!). Disable the Shift-bypass of start-up options. Again, make SURE you do not lock yourself out.

It sounds like you've got some untrustworthy users. I do not envy you at all.
