Hi Guys,
The purpose of this thread is to gain some advice on a Project I am working on.
Basically, I have built a forecasting tool in Excel, of which data can be archived currently in Excel and retrieved each time the Forecasting tool is used.
The archived data can be overwritten, and retrieved at anytime from the Forecasting tool and new archived data can be added.
My issue is that at some point the archive is going to exceed the Excel limit of rows, 1.4Million.
And I want to build the Archive as a Table in Access.
In your opinion what would be the best way of linking the Forecasting Tool (Excel) with the Archive table (Access) bearing in mind that I want to have the flexibility of writing new data, amending existing data and retrieving data from the archive using the Forecasting tool?
Thanks in advance
