Looking up query results in a list box

I have a data entry form for a booking, which allows you to enter details of a booking for a singer's gigs, with a subform allowing the user to input amounts of money that they claim for petty things like food & drink at that gig. That links to a query, and I'm inputting a list box (don't think it has to be a list box) to show the total amounts of money chosen in that field. The problem is, the list box shows the amounts for EVERY record, not that one record. I can provide screens if you don't understand my explanation (or lack thereof), let me know.
