Losing graphics when transferring to RTF

This has obviously been a problem for years (since I first started using Access).
When you have an access report and convert it to RTF any graphics / lines / boxes are removed.
We email a lot of our Access reports and the only way everyone can open them is if we convert to RTF.
Snapshot is great but not all our customers can open snapshots (given up trying to advise them how).
Converting to any other format gives worse results than RTF so we're stuck with RTF.
But is there a workaround for keeping the lines/boxes/graphics after converting?
