Hi - I am creating a temporary database which will only be needed for a month or two. Is there a macro or can I create a macro to delete the entire database on a certain date? I've seen something with Excel where a workbook was setup with a macro to self-destruct on a certain date. Rather than have to remember to go in and delete it, it would be easier to make that happen automatically.

Thanks.

I guess you could run a Shell() Rem command to delete the file.

lol this is a great way to protect your files just in case you think your company will be firing you!

If the company wants to be fussy, they can recover your files from backup ;)

Make a reminder in outlook - it seems more efficient to do that than messing with kamikaze code:eek:

Update: I mean make the reminder manually, don't write code to set the Outlook reminder from Access :)
