Question Magazine/newspaper subscription database?

Afternoon all, my first post so be gentle!

I've searched this site (and googled tinternet) to no avail, is there a sample magazine/newspaper/similar subscription database out there.

Background: many moons ago I put together several Access databases for projects at work. They were more functional than pretty, simple forms with buttons on which fired macros that moved data about, exported data to Excel etc etc. They were intended to be used by non-savvy users, hence the simple forms with buttons on ("click me to do x,y,z").

I've been asked to put together a subscriptions database for some magazines my company handles. I'm fairly rusty but thought it was a worthy challenge.....but when I've seen the spec, it's quite involved.

They want user login screens and lots of bells and whistles and it would be helpful if there was a sample somewhere that I could at least use instead of having to reinvent the wheel.

I'm guessing at tables for subscriber, product, order together with some sort of form where new orders can be entered, existing orders modified/cancelled.

The reports side of thing I'm confident enough with (labels produced as and when a product is due to be mailed out, renewal letters, that sort of thing)....it's just getting something up and running. Forms are my weakspot if I'm honest.

Any advice/pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I have not used this, so I can't say if it is good or bad. It is a start.
