Mail merging

Hi,

So i have an access database that is in a mail sorted order so has to stay in this order and i have a word document with two different letters (letter a and Letter b), the records on the database are coded up to say which letter they need. Is there a way to mail merge them in the correct mail sort order to the correct letter in word?

make a query of how you want it sorted, then in Word, run thru the Merge Wizard and choose that query as source.

Why not just generate the Letters in Access?
 
Just select the a records, then the b records?
