Hi members,
I am a starter in access. I created a form which has photos in access 2016. when displaying the form, these photos appear rotated to the left instead of being upright. Any assistance about this problem please.

What method are you using to display photos?
Embedded files? Attachment datatype? Link to the external file path as a text field?
What file type are your photos and what code are you using to display them?

I linked the database to the external file path as a text field. I have attached a photo showing one of the link paths.

Good. That's the best method by far.
Without knowing the code you used its difficult to advise further.
You might find my Folder Image Viewer example app worth looking at

OK.
Be aware that JPG files don't always work will in Access due to their lossy format. Try converting to PNG (preferred) or BMP. I vaguely remember that solving the rotation issue for another user but don't hold me to that!

Woow!!!...png magic worked. Thanks a million times!!!

Hey. My memory isn't as bad as I thought.
I've no idea why that works but great that it did so...and if you can save as PNG in the first place you'll get better quality images as well

I was working on a photo catalogue and had no image quality issues using jpg but found that rotation issues drove me nuts until I figured out the cause. Windows icon cache file doesn't get rebuilt just because you rotate an image. I lost hair because I'd rotate in any one of 3 photo apps and see a different orientation in file folder so I never knew what I was going to end up with on my form. This was a big problem because I was batch flipping and rotating images with vba and often ended up with upside down images. Turns out that if you do the operations then change the folder icon settings to something else (e.g. list) then back again, the correct orientation is shown. By creating new images, you might have overcome the issue because I'd say it's not jpc vs png - it's Windows icon cache that's the problem.

Another issue that you can encounter is the image will display properly on a form but not on a report. I haven't seen the reverse, but going with PNGs resolved it.
