I am currently using a Microsoft Acces Database, It has been in use for about three months now. It is very basic since I have had no training and am only playing about at the moment. The promblem is: I am using the database from a server on three different PC's. I have split the datebase creating the _be.mdb part. Then I used Create MDE file from the Tools Menu. This used to work perfect for creating .MDE Files on the different PC's. But I have to create a new MDE file everytime I altered something on the Back-end. I am happy with doing that, regardless wether it is right or wrong to do it in that way. After not making any changes for about a month, I have tried again this morning, and an error message pop-up saying: Microsoft Access Cannot create MDE file.

What can anyone suggest now. Is there anyway of repairing the database so that I can create a new MDE file? It is still working perfectly at the moment, but there is some changes to be made.

Have you written any VBA code? Try this, go to the design view of any module and Compile All Modules under the Debug menu. I have gotten this same error before and it is usually because of some error in my code.
